There are 3 components in a Baton system:

o   Verification Manager: Handles the UI, automates user workflows, manages user, performs task scheduling, load balancing etc

o   Checker: performs the analysis of the file and delivers the report to the verification manager.

o   Database Server: central storage of the Baton system.
