There is no defined and standardized mapping for pixel values in digital domain to analog voltage levels. But, typically following mapping can be considered:

·         Voltage Levels:

o   0 mv corresponds to 16 (8-bit) value

o   700 mv corresponds to 235 (8-bit) value 

·         IRE: 

o   NTSC (except for Japan) 

§  7.5 IRE corresponds to 16 (Y' 8-Bit)

§  100 IRE corresponds to 235 (Y' 8-Bit) 

o   NTSC (Japan) OR PAL: 

§  0 IRE corresponds to 16 (Y' 8-Bit)

§  100 IRE corresponds to 235 (Y' 8-Bit)
