Field dominance errors would be reported on scene changes.
o For interlaced content scene change occurs field wise. Hence Field dominance errors would be reported in every interlaced content. Here user should set the frame limit to high value. This would allow the system to report only cases where the problem is very highly visible.
o For progressive content, ideally field domiance errors should not present.Hence user should set the frame limit to a low number.
Note: Progressive content with source video as interlaced would always have field dominance issues. User should therefore set the threshold/limit accordingly.
In the testplan, under Field Dominance error there is "Maximum number of errors per second" field. You can increase this if you want to increase the tolerance level.
